the thing I'm most bitter abt re: fanservicey shows like shokugeki or klk is how after the backlash they got there's now a wholesale groupthink on twt and other platforms that an unsubstantial female character who's depicted inoffensively is worth more than a vibrant, flawed female chara who just happens to be in a more overtly misogynistic franchise T____T

I specify "more overtly" here bc female charas who Exist but don't really have plot relevance or development or agency or get to do much apart from prop up the male charas, and the best one can say about them is that they aren't sexualized, is also a facet of misogyny lol!!! literally applies to ALL universally "loved" sportani/shonen girls

sorry I'm just deathly allergic to boring sanitized interps and boredom!! for the love of god let my girls be terrible, let them be complex, and above all let them be INTERESTING !!! if I have to swallow insane titty physics in the process then so be it
