[said they wouldn't watch ep. 6 of girls planet] finished watching ep. 6 of girls planet and help!! little a lot very justabit overwhelmed with love for kdayeon!!!!

sometime after the first ep aired o.o.o's youtube comment section was plagued with stuff like "k group's center is forgettable compared to sakura" and "she has no presence" WHICH MADE ME SOOO MAD BC LIKE 1. everything I've learned about miyawaki sakura has been against my will please stop making me perceive her and 2. it's true but you shouldn't say it!!! if I said it in my first planetgirls post it's bc I'm different no one else is allowed !

but you know what! maybe the disparity of kim dayeon being bestgirl but never standing out has just been the fault of circumstance/a series of unfortunate events ? like in the signal song she was overshadowed by hikaru and xiaoting, and then in K.DA(yeon), #2 whose name I forget belted out an incredible highnote that kind of stole the show (+ suyeon was v pretty and had those orange pants) and THEN in how you like that JIAH decided to kill it that day for jiah reasons so again no spotlight for dayeon. ig one can argue that good performers get your attention irrespective of who else is on stage but omfg!!! everything is a learnable skill!!! I believe in her!!!! even if so far it's been a bit Whomst when dayeon's performing I'VE ALWAYS LOOKED FOR HER IN A CROWD!!! she's so funny and grounded and has the best reactions….. my girl 💕 !!? tldr I'm just glad dayeon finally got to showcase her skills, because we always knew she had them :")

also witnessing kdayeon leaderisms in action was kind of life-changing tbh..... the RUAN TRAINING MONTAGE… dayeon are u an older sibling be honest. btw I'm so relieved she got a glowing edit this ep bc according to the voting interim check she's just past the cutoff??? fellow dayeonists wyd T__T anyways making a 9-person choreography all by yourself that's both fun to watch and highlights everyone's individual strengths is kind of insane and she's so iconic for it. when hsinwei was like: "we have looks, charms, and kim dayeon" MAYBE I CRIED‼️

as an unironic blackpink discogenjoyer (me, crawling fighting bleeding losing: kill this love is a grower guys) I would've probably liked ice cream anyway (sidebar but most of gp999's song choices are so questionable like MAFIA for vocal?? ok <3 I'll never forgive them for nerfing bora & rayeon's teams w omg's most boring title) but yooo the performance was Actually super cute. ALL THE BRIGHT COLOURS!!!! it's my fave from the show so far I've probably watched it 30 times already <33 hsinwei + myah + hiyyih + dayeon in one team IS SOMETHING THAT CAN BE SO PERSONAL!!

jiah joining salute team was really predictable/classic jiah but also it's kind of guaranteed she's going to crush it so I'm VIBRATES EXCITE!! not to Start but I think it's interesting how even though youngeun is probably a little ahead in terms of raw skill, her approach to the competition so far has been "I want to try new things & have fun !" while jiah plays to her strengths and is still just barely making the cut. you already know I ship them

ruan frowning while dancing was soossoososo cute. dare I say.... SON?! speaking of sons, I was wondering what the hell ppl were going on about when they likened myah to somi but then I went and watched old sixteen clips and WTFFF I FORGOT HOW BABIE SOMI USED TO BE TT___TT like their energies, while comparable, are pretty different imo (somi the outgoing ace maknae vs myah ur dinosaur/horse/alien-obsessed little sister etc) but well I finally see it ♡

the preview for the next episode makes me feel KWAZIE btw like yes I know it's in avengers team's job description to slay because they're so op but can we focus on what's really important here i.e CHILD ACTOR KANG YESEO MAKING EVERYONE CRY??? kani sending me clips of the preview was kind of what made me cave and watch this week's ep early so fuck him but also not bc!!! I had so much fun (♡__♡) when you belatedly realize you're way too invested in a survival show for the second time in as many years. stg this wouldn't be happening if not for the pandemic..... probably

that's enough rambling for the day but listen when dayeon was all [serious][detemined] "I'm definitely aware of her so I hope she minds me too" re: paralleling caibing for both leader & killing part, to which caibing was like "I hope we can both grow <3" KILLETH THE MAN!!! KDAYEON!!!
