heartbreak aside the editing choices for this ep were so weird like WHY did they spin yeyoung a started from the bottom/helpful unnie/chance to finally prove herself narrative and then NOT GIVE HER THE CHANCE TO PROVE HERSELF..... also the dayeon/caibing leadership style parallels were so terri bc in addition to caibing getting evil edited to all hell they mistranslated a bunch of the other chinese trainees lines to what?? make dayeon look better??? BITCH we already know kdayeon invented leaderism that's why 2/3rd of cherry swirl made the cut
(sidebar but dayeon being voted into snake came as a shockdhfjkf I put her in u+me=love myself bc I couldn't imagine her doing snake w her little baby face BUT MAYBE SHE'S GOING TO SURPRISE US ALL ?? wouldn't be the first time <3)
also it's such news to me that korea gp isn't totally besotted with yeseo my son, yeseo the only, yeseo the world..... every iteration of knetz top9 I've seen so far has left her out to make room for "main vocalists" or whatever like GUYS. stop worrying about whether the final group can sing that is nottt your job just PICK WITH YOUR HEART*!!! didn't expect to grow to love CHAEHYUN so much like she flew under my radar for the longest time (I blame mnet for nerfing the ex-sm trainees with black mamba) but her voice really stood out in IU's my sea <33 actual chills!! and she was dressed like ariel!!! beloved!!!
actually think this is a somewhat realistic vision if u just swap myah for yujin..... but my babie T___T ofc if we were to disregard realism this lineup would include wenzhe and hsin wei too!!! not youngeun so much bc I still want her to debut with jiah haha that's what i-land 2 is fâ[gets sniped]
ok but speaking of i-land 2 does it maybe possibly kinda make sense?? I'm guessing hybe wants to debut a hip-hopy girlcrush group and if gugugu is mnet's cute femme group then maybe youngjia have hope?? also sidenote, rly confused about the xiyin situation, like are we just down a contestant or will jiao take her place what goes on, @ mnet i want answers. standing in front of my corkboard trying to decide on the plausibility of the Rumors about how mnet knew about xiyin's condition already and deliberately waited for her to pass the 2nd elimination round to let her retreat from gp so there'd be one less chinese contestant

mnet's direction for this show seems to be just "sinophobia with a dash of badfeels" so I wouldn't put the xiyin thing past them?!?! caibing travesty aside I'm so mad that they made me believe (however briefly) that the dayeon maincharacterisms are for anything other than gatekeeping a chinese trainee from center. the way the preview showed xiaoting getting harsh criticism..... I hate it here sm!!!!
